Here’s something i’ve learned…many of us r having O levels this yr so here is e post to encourage ur…
Schools is stress…n u hav to study n complete all ur work almost e next day…so when u get too stress up rember this..
Ecclesiates 12:12 “Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.”
I’m not telling u not to study…but dun get too stress as it might bring harm to health…but God’s word does helps…
During exams period, dun worry…as long as u put in e effort n pray to God… but no matter wad e result mayb God hav His reason coz He is in charge so juz giv it to God…coz e result God hav a plan le..
Jeremiah 29:11 ” For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give u hope and a future.”
so no matter what e result mayb juz leave it to God…coz God is gracious..
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
God noe e best for u…yup…trust in e Lord…lastly if u got any spiritual problem u r facing…turn to God…coz He cares for u…
2 Peter 5:7 ” Cast all your anxiety in him because he cares for you.”
So work hard ppl….n glorify God with ur results..even if u dun do well…dun worry…coz God hav a greater plans for u…more than u could imagine…trust in Him n God will not disappoint u..

2 Timothy 4:7 ” I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Jiayou!!

OJ : Submitting to God (Mon) 16 Apr

John 21: 15-19

17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”

What this verse is trying to say…
If we really love Jesus, submit to him, do what he wants us to do, care for fellow cell members.

How this applies to me…
Many a times, during Praise and Worship, I have expressed how much I love God through the songs we sang, sometimes even tearing when I felt how much God love us and would like to love Him back just as much. But somehow all just like ends there. There are no actions taken…just mere words and feelings. I have came across this verse many times and know one way of showing love to God will be by caring for my cell members and fellow bro n sis in Christ. But think I have done very little for them, especially my cell members…the very sheep God entrusted to me…
Reading this verse again challenges me to once again pick up the shepard’s staff and really look after God’s sheep….all my cell members. Really care for them and communicate more with them. Feed them with spiritual food and look after their spiritual health, so that they might all grow up healthily and become shepards too….
Sorry to all my cell members for spending so little time with you all. Only talking to you all on Sunday…somemore only during cell…sorry for not being there when you all needed a friend to talk to…Sorry for all the things I have not done…
So this is what I will do….there will be a personal (yue tan) session with each of you after my exams, sorry these few days busy with last min studies…., and after that I will try my best to call you all up during the weekdays. There will also be a tution class during my holidays. I am open up to suggestions of what more I can do to help you all. Feel free to drop me a sms or call.
Emmanuel!!!

Saturday 14 sat
“And he is before all things , and in him all things hold together.
And he is the head of the body , the church.
He beginning , the firstborn from the dead , that in everything he might be preeminent.
For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell
and through him to recouncil to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross
Colossians 1:17-20

reflection: in everything i do.He is to be the first. The one who will be in control of my life.
It reminds me that though there r problems in sch, r/s with my frens, still,He is in control of EVERYTHING-my friends , my situation .. and as long as God is the control by obeying and surrendering myself.. He has the best plan for me. =)

OJ : Steadfast faith (Mon) 12 Feb

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth , so are my ways higher than ur ways and my thoughts than your thoughts”

What is verse trying to say…
What God plans for us is definitely many many times better than what we plan for ourselves.
as his ways and thoughts are higher than our ways and thoughts. It’s hard for us to fathom and understand.
Building our faith on what we can do to fulfill God’s plans..
and NOT what God can do for us to fulfill our own plans, if tt’s the case, see , who is in control now?
it’s us. and not God..
God becomes an instrument to help us fulfill our own selfish plans….

As we live by faith and not sight.
Even in times when God didn’t answer our requests or expectations, we muz know that
Our Faith is not based on what God’s works but who He is.
He is faithful even when I’m faithless.
He is the God who loves me forever even when no one give a hoot abt me.
The father who is merciful to what I have done wrong against him.
who opens his arms wide and give me a warm-welcome-back-hug.
the one who stand by me in troubled times.

This page of QT has taught me to seek His heart and not His works
Sometimes I fall , I got faithless but in times of crisis , He is there to pick me up and comfort me, n yes, oso knowing that His plans are always much much better than my plans =)

U-Turning in Life

Psalm 95: 1-9

Psalm 95: 7-8,

“(7)…Today if you hear his voice, (8) do not harden your hearts...”

What is the verse trying to say:
Do not turn a deaf ear to what God’s trying to tell us.

How this applies to me:
Many times in my life I have gone down the wrong way, I know it, but I
just ignore it. It is really by God’s grace that I have not fallen off the
‘cliff’. Thank God for His Love and Compassion, for giving me all these
chances to make a U-Turn. Pray that his words will constantly guide me
along the way, and that I will have the strength to follow his guidance.
